Two days great ocean road tour 12 apostles tours Australia's most visited road is now broken down into 2 days giving you more time to see all the sights and wonders of this famous road and of course the famous 12 apostles. Below are approximate times for our summer timetable. Between November and April, tour runs Monday, Thursday and Saturday. Tour runs Monday and Thursday during winter between April and October, DAY 1 Pick up from Melbourne 7-8 am (not sure where we pick up just ask) 10-10:25am Morning tea and biscuits at Lismore.(stopping at this little country town enjoy a great cup of tea, stretch those legs, take photos and much more. 11:30-11:50 am Arrive Logan's Beach to watch surfing (whales in winter) 12:15-12:40 pm Do lunch and dinner shopping in Warrnambool. (lunchtime enjoy the second biggest town of the great Ocean road, buy food at the local shops, take pictures and just enjoy. 1:00-1:45 pm Arrive in Tower Hill for kangaroos, koalas and emus. Have lunch and a walk here.Enjoy Australian wild animals and Australian extinct volcano that is heritage listed by Australian Government 2:15-2:30pm Fuel break at Cheeseworld (free cheese samples for group) 3:15-3:45pm Arrive at Bay of Islands (Enjoy the great coastal views that are call the bay of islands) 4pm-4:30pm Swim spot at Bay of Martyrs 4:45pm-5pm Enjoy the Grotto 5:15pm-5:30pm London Bridge 6:15pm- Check in to hostel and cook/ eat dinner 8pm- Drive to 12 Apostles for sunset and penguin viewing 9:30pm - Back at hostel Where customers stay for as part of package; Port camp bell hostel For upgrade extra 80 AUD; Southernocean Motor Inn DAY 2 7:15-8am- Breakfast 8:15- 9:30am- Walk around Loch Ard Gorge( name after the famous shipping disaster in 1879. 9:35-10:30am- Helicopter flights and second look at Apostles. Helicopter flight is tour option for 80 aud you get a birds eye view of the 12 apostles ( be advice this depends on weather) Talk to driver about this option. 10:35-11:15am Gibsons Steps (see the 12 apostles from the beach level and get up close to one of the apostles. 11:15-12:15pm 1 hour drive to Maits Rest Rainforest. 12:15-12:50pm Guided tour of rainforest 1:10-2:30pm Lunch in Apollo Bay (enjoy this great show with its beautiful beaches, wooden statues, also selection of shops to buy from.) 2:30-3:45pm Beautiful driving of original part of Great Ocean Road 3:45-4:15pm Afternoon tea at Lorne enjoy the sights of this famous town and loutit bay name after captain loutit one of the Australia's famous captains. 4:15-5:15pm More nice driving, plus stop at Splits point Lighthouse famous for being on Australian tv show call around the twist. 5:30-6:15pm-Bells Beach Famous for its annual Australian surfing competition held each april. 7:30pm- Arrive back in Melbourne.
