2 Day Melbourne to Adelaide Tour via Great Ocean Road & Grampians

The Great Ocean Road is a crown jewel in the spectacular road journey between Melbourne and Adelaide. This region is known for its long summers, beautiful beaches and acts as a fabulous gateway to stunning landscapes. Furthermore, Southern Australia consists of a brilliant blend of people, produce and places.

Day 1 Great Ocean Road
- Breakfast with a View
- Start your day early with a complimentary morning tea/coffee at the iconic Surf Beach.
- Pay Tribute to Soldiers of World War I; Photo stop at the historic Great Memorial Arch.
- Explore the South Australian Coastline; over 3800 kilometres long. Leisurely walk along the magnificent beaches and explore the various look out points in the Lorne and Anglesea region.
- Spot Wildlife in Their Natural Habitat in the hamlet of Kennett River. One of the best places to spot Koalas in their natural habitat, view Crimson Rosella, King Parrot and look for the famous Kookaburra.
- Lunch at the Iluka on Apollo Bay. (A range of local options that include chicken, fish, beef and vegetarian meals. Halal option is available! All religious and dietary requirements are available.)
- After a delicious lunch, a guided bushwalk tour through the ancient, rare and cool temperate rainforest, Mait’s Rest rainforest. (Beware of the slippery spots on the way.)
- View Magnificent Rock Stacks {rugged splendour of the famous 12 Apostles that rise up majestically on the dramatic coastline}. If the weather and time permits, you have an option of treating yourself with a helicopter ride (own expense).
12 Apostles - London Bridge Scenic Flight
From our Heliport; launch into a 15 minute flight experience.
On this flight you will see:
• 12 Apostles
• Loch Ard Gorge
• The Sentinel
• The Arch
• London Bridge
45 km / 15 minutes
- Time for a Trail Walk in Loch Ard Gorge; explore the precinct steeped in history and natural beauty (3 easy walks) or simply laze around; visit the Salt and Pepper or Razorback.
- Head to the London Bridge, the world famous natural arch in Port Campbell National Park; great for photography.
After fun-filled day, you spend the night in heart of Grampians National Park. Accommodations are pre arranged at Ned’s Other Bed’s in Hall’s Gap.

Day 2 – Grampian’s National Park
- Good Morning! Grampian’s National Park, a home to distinctive creatures such as koalas, Emus, birds, Echidnas, Wedge tailed eagles that reside among lush green habitats. Wake up early and wander around your hostel to discover kangaroos grazing, noisy corellas flying and spot some mysterious wallaby.
- Walk up Hollow Mountain or Chautauqua Peak and enjoy the marvellous views of Mt. Stapylton and the surrounding Wimmera plains. (walks are both challenging but worthwhile, so be sure to use walking shoes with grip and drink water at regular intervals)
- Visit Hall’s Gap, a tourist village situated in the heart of Grampian’s National Park.
- Head on to Brambuk National Park and Cultural Centre, a special place to find Australia’s native flora and fauna and Aboriginal culture (learn more about Jardwadjali and Djab wurrung Aboriginal tribes)
- Head to Reed’s Lookout and Lake Bellfield, the two picnic spots offering swimming and boating activities where you can also take a stroll and refresh yourself in the fresh air.
- Visit MacKenzie Falls or Silverband Falls, magnificent views and dramatic vistas over large segments of the Park.
End the journey by a transfer to a luxury coach in Stawell or Horsham for continuation onto Adelaide.
