Boroka Lookout or Lake Belfield– A panoramic mountain view. Watch the flying birds, lush green forest, charming countryside and the nearby rivers, enclosed by the hill ranges of the majestic mountains, from this exquisite lookout. View the parks profusion of native animals from up here. The unspoilt nature of the park has rightly earned it a protected status.
Aboriginal Reminiscence – Immerse yourself in Aboriginal beliefs at the Brambuk
Aboriginal Cultural Centre; get a chance to see ancient Aboriginal rock-art paintings, evidence of Aboriginal people’s long connection with the Grampians. Have a memorial experience of local stories of Aboriginal people depicted through exhibits. Enjoy watching shows, artefacts and displays here be it in the music, cultural programs or traditional dance.
Stop over for picnic lunch.
Wildlife Spotting and Hiking – A guided hike to the remarkable Jaws of Death, now renamed as the Balconies, a spectacular jaw-shaped rock formation. Watch out for the native flora and fauna that is lavishly displayed. If you’re lucky, you might run into wild Kangaroos, Emus, Echidnas, Birds and Lizards in their natural habitat.
MacKenzie Falls or Silverband Falls – Cool down at the beautiful waterfalls. Walk to the bottom of the falls or to one of the various lookouts to get the best bird’s-eye view of the surrounding scenery.
After a fun-filled day at the Grampians, bid goodbye to the scented mountain air and the breathtaking surroundings.
