2. Best food tour!!!

This was the best food tour I’ve been on. So much history of the market, vendors, and the tastings were incredible! Our guide Carmel was a wealth of information and knew so many vendors that the tour became much more personal! Don’t hesitate to book this tour!!!

3. Best experience

We were fortunate enough to have Carmel as our tour guide. She was knowledgable, passionate, and so so friendly. The tour was planned to perfection. As we slowly made our way through the beautiful Melbourne icon we were treated to the best of produce and the most amazing variety. We Tate’s everything from seafood to savoury and finished with sweet. This tour catered for all ages and was truly and fun and educational foodie experience. Thank you so much for giving our whole family such a wonderful time. We will be back annually.

5. Ultimate Foodie Tour Soars

What a perfect introduction to this Impressive Market. Carmel guided us through the ins and outs….knew the best purveyors….their contribution to market…their family histories….we sampled many delicious specialties….if we had not taken such a wonderful tour our visit to the Market would have paled.

Impressed by the cleanliness of this market as compared to many others around the world we have visited.

Carmel’s stories about how the market functions, how the food is delivered each morning etc. etc. led to a greater understanding and appreciation for this amazing market. How lucky the City of Melbourne is to have such a gem where people can buy and have access to such fine quality foods.
