Visit the Australian Sports Museum located beneath the iconic Melbourne Cricket Ground, home to Australia’s most extensive collection of sporting heritage and multi-media displays.  The Australian Sports Museum isn’t your typical museum.  It’s an exciting, interactive and ever-changing experience where the latest technology has been used to create immersive exhibits and galleries.  It’s a place to explore, discover and play.  This is no ordinary museum.

Visit ‘Living Legends’, host to our favourite retired champion race horses. Meet the horses, watch kangaroos in their natural environment, and enjoy afternoon tea.

Living Legends has been established to bring retired champion horses back to the public. It is situated at Woodlands Historic Park. Living Legends is home to retired champion racehorses such as Fields of Omagh, Might and Power, Silent Witness, Apache Cat, Better Loosen Up, Rogan Josh, Chief De Beers, Brew, Efficient, Zipping, Paris Lane and many more…

Living Legends is modelled closely on the Home of Rest for Horses in the United Kingdom and like the Home of Rest they aim to support equine research, education and training to benefit horses of all ages and breeds. Special emphasis, however, is given to the care of older horses.

This tour is available daily for Private Groups only.

TOUR INCLUDES: Entry, tour and afternoon tea at Living Legends, Tour of The MCG, Australian Sports Museum entry and a pub style lunch included in Docklands.
