Travel by air-conditioned minibus to Living Legends – home to some favourite retired champion race horses such as Fields of Omagh, Might and Power, Silent Witness, Better Loosen Up, Rogan Josh, Brew, Paris Lane, Efficient, Who Shot The Barman (NZ), Redkirk Warrior (GB) and Peniaphobia (IRE), Fawkner and Almandin.  Enjoy the opportunity to meet, pat and feed the horses and talk to the stable hands that care for them.

Living Legends is part of Woodlands Park and is modelled closely on the Home of Rest for Horses in the United Kingdom.  Like the Home of Rest, they aim to support equine research, education and training to benefit horses of all ages and breeds.  Special emphasis, however, is given to the care of older horses.

After your meet and greet session with the horses, relax in the beautiful, historic homestead of Woodlands Historic Park with a light lunch and some time to explore the on-site museum before travelling back to your cruise ship or hotel.
