Mornington Peninsula Winery Day Tour

A very full day out with an emphasis on a wide range of wine, superb food and hinterland scenery. We start around 8:45am and travel through Melbourne's bayside suburbs to the Mornington Peninsula, one of Victoria's most loved cool-climate wine regions.

The first stop is Yabby Lake Vineyard, established in 1998, producing consistently good wines from estate and regional grown grapes including Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc, Pinot Gris, Pinot Noir and Shiraz, with biscuits and cheese complementing the tastings. A short drive away is Crittenden Estate at Dromana, one of the first commercial vineyards on the Peninsula with origins back to 1984. Then on to the quirky Quealy Vineyard at Balnarring with its Italian inspired wines.

After a relaxed a la carte lunch at the Merricks General Store in rustic surroundings, the day finishes with a visit to the Ten Minutes by Tractor Vineyards at Main Ridge.
